Deeds and onchain
Deeds are planned as records you hold in your own wallet. They are not live yet.
What a deed is
A Zone Deed is a durable record of a cell you hold. One deed per cell. It records which cell, who holds it, and how long they have held it, and it is kept under the holder's own keys rather than in an account somebody else controls.
What a deed is for is permanence. Everything you build in MovenRun today lives on your device, and a deed is how a long-held cell becomes a record that outlasts a reinstall.
A record of standing
A deed is a record of standing in a game. It is not property, it is not an investment, and it is not designed to carry value. Holding one says you have held that cell, and nothing else.
Length of holding is the thing a deed is designed to make legible. Ground held for a year reads differently from ground claimed last week, and that difference is the only ranking a deed expresses.
Where the design stands
The deed registry is still a design being worked through. No deed has been issued and there is nothing to connect to. The roadmap shows where deeds sit in the order of work.
Wallets
Holding a deed needs somewhere to keep it. The intent is that this is arranged for you and stays out of the way, so that the game does not begin with a setup task. That work has not started and no provider has been chosen.
Until it does, MovenRun asks nothing of you on this front. A wallet can already be used to sign in to the app, and that is all it does: it signs one message, with no transaction, no balance read and nothing held.
Deeds and Points
These are separate designs. Points are an in-game currency for strengthening ground. A deed is a record of which ground you hold. Neither converts into the other, and neither carries monetary value.
